Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Windsor, Berkshire

We are working on behalf of an independent practice in Windsor, Berkshire who are currently recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified and registered veterinary nurse, with experience of working in practice to a high standard. The position is full time with a shared weekend rota and night rota.
The position will involve all first opinion nursing duties, including assisting the vet in theatre and caring for day patients. There will be a small amount of reception work, general organising and cleaning of the practice, stock monitoring, insurance claims forms.
This role is full time for 40 hours per week with weekends on a shared rota. There will be an in-patient on-call rota that is shared between the team.
Example shifts:
4. Dispense - 8:15am to 6pm
5. Theatre - 8am to 5pm
6. 2nd ops - 8am to 5:15pm
7. Kennels - 9:30am to 6:30pm
8. Recovery - 8am to 5pm

About them:
An independent small animal veterinary practice located in Windsor, Berkshire who have an RCVS accredited hospital with a couple of branch practices in the area too. They provide a complete small animal service to all clients and their staff cover all inpatient checks, however out of hour emergencies are outsourced.
There surgeries are fully equipped with surgical suits, cat and dog wards, in house laboratory, imaging suits, ultrasound, orthopaedic equipment, ophthalmology equipment and basic dermatology kit.
The candidate:
You will be an enthusiastic, efficient and hard-working veterinary nurse who is eager to take a positive step in their career. You will be a qualified veterinary nurse with a strong all-round skill set and a desire to continue learning.
It is essential you hold your own driving license due to the location of the practice.
Package:
14. Salary: Up to £28, per annum, commensurate to experience
