The Company
My client is in the manufacturing sector.
The Opportunity
* Work with the Trade Compliance Manager and act as the key finance contact to ensure site compliance with FCO procedures.
* Manage the entire Capex process, including training the wider team, full reporting, and compliance with company policy.
* Support the statutory audit process and collaborate with external auditors to meet statutory deadlines.
* Assist with calculations and analysis to create and post journal entries for inventory, accruals, prepayments, sales, and payroll.
* Support tax compliance for statutory audits.
* Assist with the preparation of month-end and quarter-end closing to trial balance, and submit results through corporate software.
* Raise manual payments and assist with banking processes.
* Provide support to finance and the wider business to update policies and help create a robust control environment.
* Serve as the main point of contact for coordinating internal audits and ensuring all deliverables are provided on time, with support where needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
* Part-qualified accountant (professional stage) (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Relevant management accounting experience in a complex business environment.
Skills
* ERP, MS Excel, Power BI.
