Pink Worm Recruitment is partnering with a growing insurance business to find a Business Testing & Readiness Analyst to ensure every change is properly tested, understood, and ready for use before it reaches colleagues or customers. This is the person who spots what could go wrong early, challenges assumptions, and makes sure nothing goes live unless it is genuinely fit for purpose. It is about understanding how insurance operations really work, how customers experience processes, and whether change actually improves outcomes once it goes live. We’re looking for someone who can bring strong operational insight across broking, customer servicing, insurance workflows, Acturis, operational readiness, and business testing to support high-quality, well-executed change across the group. You’ll play a key role in testing and validating changes to processes, customer journeys, MI dashboards, product enhancements, communications, and Acturis workflows, helping ensure the business delivers change at pace without compromising quality, compliance, or customer experience. The Role: You’ll assess change from a business perspective, making sure requirements are met, risks are identified early, operational impacts are understood, and teams are ready to adopt change successfully. Business testing Plan, design, and execute end-to-end business testing for change initiatives Test workflows, processes, and systems for completeness, usability, operational impact, and risk Validate how change will work in practice before go-live Ensure changes are operationally sound and fit for adoption Testing MI, reporting, and dashboards Test dashboards built by MI & Insight teams Validate data accuracy, logic, segmentation, filters, operational relevance, and usability Ensure dashboards reflect true operational performance and meaningful business insight Testing customer communications Test new or updated Acturis templates, letters, customer communications, and documents Ensure communications are clear, accurate, compliant, and operationally effective Confirm alignment with Consumer Duty expectations and customer outcomes Product and proposition testing Test new products, endorsements, schemes, business rules, and workflows before release Assess customer journey impact and operational readiness Help ensure products and propositions can be implemented smoothly and safely Operational excellence and readiness Support changes linked to Centres of Excellence, workflow redesign, automation, and capacity assumptions Validate process performance, operational quality, and end-to-end readiness Support smooth implementation and strong adoption across teams Risk and issue identification Identify defects, logic gaps, operational weaknesses, failure points, and customer risks Prioritise findings based on customer impact, regulatory exposure, and operational risk Ensure there is no regression as a result of change Provide clear findings, recommendations, and supporting evidence Self-led test planning Create test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria independently Use business and operational understanding to design testing activity Challenge unclear requirements or process designs that are not workable in practice Stakeholder engagement and communication Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to both business and technical stakeholders Explain what is and is not working, why it matters, and what needs to happen next Translate testing outcomes into clear business language Work closely with Retail COO, Broking Operations, MI & Insight, Sales, Proposition, PMO, and IT stakeholders Support go-live readiness decisions with evidence-based outputs About You: Strong operational understanding of broking, insurance operations, customer servicing, or Acturis workflows Experience in business testing, UAT, operational readiness, or quality assurance Ability to create test scenarios independently based on business requirements Strong problem-solving and analytical capability Excellent documentation and communication skills High attention to detail with a focus on customer safety, compliance, and operational quality You can understand complex operational processes and identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities. You anticipate issues, take ownership, and work through solutions before problems escalate. You work well across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure change lands effectively. You explain findings, risks, and recommendations clearly in business language, helping others make informed decisions. You make sure operational changes are safe, compliant, and improve the customer experience.
