Cancer Care is looking for a motivated and passionate full‑time Senior Administrator to support the oncology service within the Oncology Administration Department covering Medical Oncology, Clinical Oncology, Haematology, and Palliative Care.

Detailed Job Description & Main Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support within the oncology administration team.
* Coordinate and streamline administrative processes to ensure consistent, effective administration services are maintained.
* Deliver a high standard of customer service with tact, discretion, and sensitivity, promoting UHS Trust values and vision to colleagues, patients, relatives/carers, and external agencies.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
* Good standard of secondary education with literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE pass level or equivalent.
* Level 3 qualification in administration/customer service or equivalent experience; or Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in administration/customer service; experience as an administrator or secretary in a customer‑focused environment; ability to use judgement to solve non‑routine enquiries.
* RSA 2 or equivalent in word processing/typing; RSA 3.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Administrative and organisational experience.
* Knowledge and experience of secretarial or administrative procedures.
* Experience as an administrator or secretary in a customer‑focused environment.
Desirable Criteria
* Courses or further study demonstrating personal development.
* Diploma level qualification or equivalent experience.
* RSA 3.
* Proficient in hospital computerised patient systems.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
