Events and Club Team Manager Bayards Court, Dartmouth £18.34 salary - plus ferry reimbursement 40 hours per week Creating experiences that bring life to every day We're looking for an ambitious and creative Events and Club Team Manager to join us at Bayards Court Care Home - and help shape a completely new approach to resident experience. This isn't a traditional activities role, its an opportunity to build something innovative from the ground up: a modern clubs and events programme designed around lifestyle, wellbeing, connection and community - helping shape the future of later living for generations to come. As Events and Club Team Manager, you'll design and deliver a vibrant year-round calendar of experiences that elevate everyday life. From wellness and fitness classes to arts, creative workshops, cultural events and social gatherings, you'll create a programme that feels thoughtful, aspirational and genuinely enriching. This role is about transforming how experiences are delivered - bringing a hospitality led approach to later living, where every event, club and experience feels polished, engaging and professionally delivered. You'll lead and inspire a dedicated team, encouraging creativity, innovation and high standards while ensuring every experience is inclusive and welcoming. Your role Plan and deliver a year-round schedule of inclusive events Lead and develop the team to deliver engaging, high-quality experiences Evaluate events and adapt to meet resident and stakeholder needs Build community links and promote events for maximum participation Manage relationships with residents, families and stakeholders; resolve issues promptly Ensure safe working practices, including risk assessments and hazard reporting Maintain accurate records and data for events Your skills Experience working with relevant client groups or in the care sector Supervisory or managerial experience in care or a related sector Proven ability to manage schedules, events, costs and teams Your rewards You deserve more than the basics.
