Brett Aggregates is one of the largest independent aggregate suppliers in the South East of England, with operations based in Kent, Suffolk, Middlesex, Hampshire and a fleet of over 70 vehicles. This vacancy is for a Class 1 (Cat C+E) driver based at our Ipswich site.
About Your Role
Hours of work are approximately 50 - 55 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Start and finish times may vary dependant on customer requirements, with a typical shift averaging between 10 and 12 hours. Applicants must also be prepared to work every other Saturday, generally AM.
Responsibilities
* Drive HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicles, with focus on delivering aggregate products.
* Operate tipper vehicles where applicable; full training available for applicants as needed. Newly qualified drivers will be considered.
Qualifications
* Experience with tipper vehicles and delivering aggregate products is preferred, but not mandatory if training is provided.
* Applicants without experience will be considered if they can demonstrate the ability to learn and perform the role.
