This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and forward thinking accountancy practice in Hull. The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager to take ownership of a varied client portfolio and play a key role in the continued development of the practice.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Manager role include:
* Managing a portfolio of owner managed businesses across a range of sectors
* Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice and support
* Leading and mentoring junior and senior team members
* Managing workflows, deadlines and allocation of work within the team
* Identifying advisory opportunities and supporting business development where appropriate
* Maintaining high technical and service standards across the portfolio
Requirements of the Accounts Manager role include:
* Strong UK accountancy practice experience is essential
* ACA or ACCA qualified, or highly experienced and qualified by experience
* Proven experience managing a client portfolio
* Confident reviewing work and leading a team
* Strong communication skills and a client focused approach
* Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
