Supply Teaching Assistant - Surrey Primary School
We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Supply Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive one-form entry primary school located in Surrey. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, working closely with teachers, and helping to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.
Responsibilities
* Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
* Supporting children with their learning, including those with additional needs
* Helping manage classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Providing one-on-one or small group support as needed
* Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence in students
Qualifications
* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, especially in primary settings
* Strong behaviour management skills and resilience in working with children with challenging behaviour
* A patient, positive, and adaptable approach to helping students learn and thrive
* A commitment to fostering a caring and supportive learning environment
