Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Location: Nelson
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: £25,714 - £27,280 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts between 7:30am - 6:00pm
About Us:
We are currently recruiting for a well-established private nursery in Nelson, known for delivering high-quality childcare in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their dedicated team with an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the EYFS framework
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
Observe, assess, and record children's development
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times
Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure the welfare of all children
Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive nursery culture
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, flexible, and able to work shifts between 7:30am - 6:00pm
