Job Description Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work at our customers site in Warrington on a contract basis. The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the creation of component/assembly designs and associated through life justification that meet their requirements and product attributes, ie life, cost availability and safety margins. Role details: Job title: Senior Mechanical Engineer Contract length: 12 months Location: Warrington Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: To understand Product system / sub-system requirements and derive Component requirements at task level. To produce robust design solutions which are insensitive to variation to address specified requirements. To collaborate and communicate design solution information with task stakeholders. To search for, capture, store, and re-use knowledge relating to design activity. To understand and apply the commodity standards and to create new standards where none exist. To liaise with manufacturing and service engineering to actively integrate the experience and knowledge from these areas. To check own and others design a solutions and technical for completeness and correctness.
