The Project Management Office provides the stable of Programme Managers, Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers taking the majority of projects forward for the organisation, as well as project planning, costing and process governance. The job holder will provide co-ordination and support to one or more projects and programmes, ensuring procedures are followed and that all key project documents are in place and that projects are delivered to budget, schedule and quality standards These projects and programmes are varied and typically involve the maintenance and enhancement of the two world class fusion devices on site as well as developing new facilities that advance enabling technologies for the international market in fusion development. These projects and programmes embody our mission to develop nuclear fusion as a source of energy generation, demonstrating the technology with a view to it ultimately becoming commercialised.
