Join a pioneering motion control company redefining hydraulics through additive manufacturing and precision engineering. Based in Central Bristol, you will be responsible for improving and stabilising CNC machining and related production processes across manufacturing operations. You will work closely with manufacturing operations and design engineers to improve process capability, yield, and productivity
The Role and responsibilities
* Deliver manufacturing improvement projects that increase process capability, stability, and throughput, with a primary focus on CNC precision machining processes including turning, milling, grinding, and honing.
* Plan and execute process trials and validation activities to improve tooling, fixturing, machining parameters, and manufacturing methods.
* Use production data and statistical analysis to monitor manufacturing performance and identify improvement opportunities.
* Lead structured root cause investigations into manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions that permanently remove failure modes.
About You
* Approximately 4–7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
* Experience improving manufacturing processes through structured problem solving and root cause investigation.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the factors that influence process capability, variation, and performance.
* Experience running manufacturing trials, validations, or process improvements involving tooling, fixturing, or manufacturing methods.
