The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a well-established and highly regarded firm in Somerset.
You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice across a broad range of private client matters, managing a diverse caseload while delivering an exceptional standard of client service. The role offers high-quality work, including complex and high-value estates, within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
The caseload will include:
• Wills and estate planning
• Powers of Attorney
• Trust creation and administration
• Tax and inheritance planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Advising on complex private client matters
You will also play a supervisory role, overseeing and supporting a Private Client Lawyer and Legal Assistant, contributing to the ongoing development of the team.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
• Be a qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in Private Client
• Have strong technical experience handling complex matters independently
• Demonstrate confidence supervising junior team members
• Deliver exceptional client care and build long-term client relationships
• Show commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
