Job Description
Can you make a difference in the future lives of Glasgow's children? Glasgow City Council is seeking highly motivated and dynamic staff with a passion for working with children and young people with additional support/complex learning needs. You must be committed, passionate, and well-qualified. We will support you to inspire learning within the additional learning needs sector.
Teaching duties: Supporting the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes across various subjects, with a specific focus on early-second level.
In addition to the outlined teaching and duties, we seek individuals who enjoy working collegiately and are committed to improving outcomes for Glasgow's most vulnerable young people.
In line with section 21(2A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980, the successful candidate will require RC Approval.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme is essential upon appointment, along with GTCS registration. Please note that successful candidates will need to pay for PVG membership or scheme checks.
