The Opportunity - remote working fully
You will join a team of eight specialists handling a sophisticated caseload of contentious insolvency matters. The work is predominantly litigation arising from formal insolvency appointments, with a strong emphasis on director‑focused claims and actions brought by insolvency practitioners.
This role is designed for a technically robust, stable, and commercially minded litigator. Someone who has built depth over time, is comfortable operating autonomously, and is now seeking a platform with high‑quality work, flexibility, and long‑term progression.
What You’ll Lead On
• Running complex director and office‑holder claims, including misfeasance, breach of duty, antecedent transactions, and recovery actions.
• Managing corporate insolvency litigation, such as winding‑up petitions, validation orders, and claims arising from post‑appointment investigations.
• Handling personal insolvency disputes, including possession and sale applications, annulments, and statutory demand challenges.
• Providing litigation support to the firm’s in‑house insolvency practitioners and collaborating with other departments on cross‑disciplinary matters.
• Advising on select non‑contentious issues, including administration applications, phoenix company guidance, and pre‑pack considerations.
• Contributing to business development initiatives and supporting the development of junior colleagues where appropriate.
The team’s work is regularly featured in annual market reports tracking issued insolvency claims, where it consistently ranks in the top 10 nationally for volume and complexity.

• 8–10+ years PQE in contentious insolvency or commercial litigation with a strong insolvency component.
