Axcis Education is currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in primary and secondary schools across Ashton-under-Lyne and the surrounding areas. These roles are due to start in September 2025, with opportunities for long-term, short-term, and day-to-day supply work. Responsibilities: - Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) - Work alongside class teachers to deliver tailored interventions and inclusive education - Help manage challenging behaviour in a positive and constructive way - Support pupils with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs Ideal Candidate: - Previous experience working with children or young people (in a school, youth work, or care setting) - A patient, flexible, and resilient approach - A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs - Team player with strong communication skills - Relevant qualifications or training in education, psychology, or SEND (desirable but not essential) Apply today, and get registered ready for Septmeber!!
