Aftersales Manager – HGV Industry
Location: Manchester
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 Per Annum + Company Benefits
We’re offering a fantastic career development opportunity for a driven and conscientious individual to join our team as an Aftersales Manager at our busy Manchester depot.
Reporting directly to the Group Aftermarket Manager, the successful candidate will take the lead in driving the depot’s performance forward — providing vision, leadership and professionalism of the highest standard.
You’ll be responsible for maximising profitability and return on investment through the effective use of resources, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction, and maintaining strong service and parts performance. Maintaining our competitive edge means continually meeting and exceeding customer expectations while building upon service and parts sales volumes and profitability.
You’ll also take charge of site management — including health and safety compliance, facility management, and acting as the main point of contact for both customers and suppliers visiting the depot.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Aftersales operation, delivering strong financial performance and service excellence.
Manage and develop a motivated team, fostering a culture of growth and high performance.
Oversee budgets, KPIs, and efficiency metrics such as technician productivity and cost management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant vehicle and consumer legislation.
Maintain exceptional relationships with customers and suppliers.About You
Proven experience in the commercial vehicle or HGV industry at management level.
Strong understanding of modern vehicle industry processes and best practices.
Skilled in budget management, KPI analysis, and people development.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
IT literate, confident with Microsoft Office and dealership management systems (e.g. GDS).
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when required.What’s on Offer
