* Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 pro rata
* Position: 3-6 month FTC, Full Time
* Location: London (hybrid working 2 days per week in the London office)

Working with the Chief Executive the Senior Research Manager will:
* Oversee the delivery of the research grant process and manage the Research Grants Committee.
* Oversee the development and delivery of SRUK’s research communications and portfolio of information and support for the Raynaud’s and Scleroderma community.
* Be a source of scientific expertise for the organisation.
* Provide leadership and management to the Research team.
* Proactively identify new strategic research & funding opportunities
You will have proven experience of biomedical and/or epidemiological research, and a PhD qualification in a relevant subject. Also, a clear understanding of the research grant funding process, excellent communication skills and the ability to build successful strategic partnerships across healthcare, health-tech and/or research sectors.
