LPN/Per Diem
Diamond Grove Center is searching for skilled and experienced LPN's that are looking to join our team. The position will be PRN, hours will vary, flexibility is required with this position, hours will consist of 7:30am-3:30pm, 3:30pm-11:30pm, 11:30pm-7:30am.
Diamond Grove Center is a 85 bed behavioral psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful neighborhood of Louisville, Miss. Diamond Grove Center features individual units for children, adolescents, and offers inpatient care acute care, as well as residential treatment for adolescents. On average 1000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Diamond Grove Center Hospital. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides clinical support to the unit. The LPN participates in patient education and rehabilitation, and provides interpretation of treatment to the patient and the patient’s family. The LPN coordinates unit activity and assures accountability of assigned tasks. Demonstrates clinical knowledge of psychiatric nursing and maintains the highest quality of comprehensive patient care. Consistently documents in the patient’s record all pertinent clinical information daily, which includes all unusual incidents. Utilizes the nursing process, which includes assessments, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation. Assumes responsibility for the supervision of the staff on assigned shift in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer and the Registered Nurse as by delegation for job duties on the assigned shift and follow up on the completion of these duties.

Qualifications
1. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
2. Vocational/Technical School Graduate
3. 2 years of experience required.
4. Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure
