We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in various settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, and hospice care. Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support for clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
* Assist with mobility and transportation, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.
* Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
* Document care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* Support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments through behaviour management techniques.
Skills
* Proven experience in caregiving or home care settings is essential.
* Familiarity with assisted living, nursing home experience, hospice care, and senior care practices is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of first aid procedures and medication administration protocols.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility or transfers.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.60-£12.82 per hour
