Salary and Hourly Rate: £27 per hour
Working Hours: On average 35 hours per week
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 09:00 - 17:30 ( hours a day).
Plus one Saturday every 4 weeks 09:00 - 13:00 (4 hours).

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Kingswood Avenue branch. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including four dispensers and a Non-Pharm Managerproviding an excellent service to the local community from their setting in located adjacent to a surgery. Currently dispensing around 9,500 items per month, this is a relatively busybranch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

Key Responsibilities
10. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
11. Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
12. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
13. Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
14. Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
15. Provide immunization services (where applicable)
16. Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
17. Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives
What We Require
18. Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
19. Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting
20. Strong commitment to patient care and safety
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
22. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
23. Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
24. A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving
