GSL Education are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Sheffield, S2. As an SEN TA, this is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of needs, ensuring they can access learning, develop essential skills, and thrive in an inclusive environment. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons adapted to individual needs. Helping pupils to develop their confidence, independence, and social skills. Providing tailored emotional and academic support to meet each child’s unique requirements. Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to track progress and provide consistent support. To be successful in this role, you should: Have experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting. Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach. Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills. Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
