You will be expected to provide day to day operational and line management of a Health Visiting team, identifying and managing any risks with the support /direction of Head of Service. This role requires you to manage your own caseload whilst ensuring that the service specification for Health Visiting is implemented and appropriate data is collected, analysed and presented for contract monitoring. You will also need to ensure the Health Visiting team delivers services in line with national and local policies in line with the healthy child programme.
Main duties of the job
3. Daily management of a team of health visitors, undertaking contacts and ensuring KPI's are being met.
4. Supporting the wider team and specialist Health visitors.
5. To maintain clinical competence and credibility to enable provision of both professional, clinical and safeguarding supervision, skill development and support of team members
6. To co-ordinate the workload of the team ensuring the delivery of an effective service and allocation of resources
