JOB TITLE: Associate Director, Asset Finance Sales
LOCATIONS: Reading, Southampton

What you’ll be doing
The Asset Finance Team is at the forefront of delivering vital cashflow solutions to trading businesses across the UK. As one of the fastest growing products within both Lloyds Banking Group and the wider UK market, this is a truly exciting space to build and grow your career.
We have an opportunity to join our team in the South East region, as one of our Associate Directors, dealing with clients in the SME sector (£3m - £25m turnover bracket). This role requires a strong profile in the marketplace to identify and deliver high quality new business opportunities, as well as a collaborative working style with our Coverage teams to deliver a range of Asset Finance products for new and existing clients. You'll be an experienced originator who can develop, manage and drive business performance in order to successfully compete in the Asset Finance sector.
Your accountabilities will include:
1. Developing and originating high quality Asset Finance business, in line with new business targets, through multiple sources (Direct, Brokers & Vendors)
2. Demonstrating and utilising expert product knowledge to maximise delivery across all channels.
3. Maintaining strong relationships with key business introducers, customers and prospects to ensure effective delivery
4. Undertaking structured prospecting activities across agreed territories
5. Accountable for the structuring of financial solutions and negotiation of all deals.
6. Building and maintaining an effective external network to ensure maximisation of opportunity

What we’re looking for
You’re likely to have solid business to business experience within financial services and will ideally come from a Commercial Finance, Leasing, Asset Finance background with sound business development and sales experience.
7. Experience in client face to face sales negotiations
8. Solid understanding of Asset Finance and ideally 5 years’ experience of selling asset finance products
9. Outstanding relationship management or business development skills
10. Excellent understanding of financials and cash flow
11. Ability to write detailed credit reports, as well as analyse, draw insights and make financial services recommendations
12. Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure business opportunities are maximised
