Hospital Support Assistant Team Leader

We are recruiting for a Team Leader role at Scunthorpe General Hospital. This contracted position works a two‑week rota.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing a team of Hospital Support Assistants/Deep Clean Assistants
* Managing and maintaining rotas
* Ensuring staff training is up to date
* Covering all areas if and when needed to support the HSA role
* Maintaining the highest possible standards of compassionate and professional patient care with particular attention to privacy and dignity
* Working to national standards of cleanliness
* Managing staff annual leave
* Auditing all areas
* Completing sickness return‑to‑work with staff

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications:
* General education with experience of food hygiene and domestic work
* NVQ level 2
Occupational Experience/Abilities:
* Knowledge and understanding of cleaning, linen, deep cleaning and catering procedures
* Experience of working in relevant settings
* Knowledge of NHS cleaning routines and statutory requirements
