Senior Mental Health Social Worker
Location: King's Lynn, England, United Kingdom
Hybrid working, and a warm welcome accompany this opportunity to work creatively with Young People and their families within the Community based Youth Team in Kings Lynn, West Norfolk. We are a multi-disciplinary team promoting positive Mental Health and providing treatment interventions for Young People aged 14 to 25 years. The role is for a fixed period of 12 months, 30 hours per week to cover maternity leave.
We strive to be dynamic and creative and are dedicated Mental Health Professionals, focusing on the needs of Young People providing a needs-led approach. We are seeking like-minded clinicians to work alongside us in supporting Young Peoples Wellbeing and Mental Health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to support young people to reach their goals and be able to demonstrate the following qualities: experience, passion, resilience, empathy, great communication skills, and an ability to be flexible and manage risk.
Duties
* Triage of new referrals
* Conduct assessments
* Support and be part of the duty system within the team
* Individual caseload holding and management
* Deliver evidence-based mental health treatment interventions to young people both on a one-to-one basis and in group settings, face-to-face and using online mediums such as Attend Anywhere, Microsoft Teams and Zoom
* Multi-agency working, including working alongside families, acute hospital, primary care sector, social care, education and voluntary services
* Active contribution in team meetings and reflective sessions to allow the team to learn, grow, and improve the service we provide
