Do you like connecting with people and different organisations? Are you interested in developing wing structures? We are a team of Structural Engineers who are a mixture of Technical Experts and Design Specialists passionate about finding technical solutions to support the structures department.
We can help you develop technically and personally in the role. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary design team deployed onto one of the current Airbus programmes.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
1. Creating design solutions, technical studies, and investigations to ensure the delivery of technical solutions in accordance with relevant design methods and requirements from initial concept design through to supporting aircraft in service.
2. Supporting ongoing continuous improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency through methods, process, and capability improvements.
3. Providing technical leadership and supporting people development of internal and external designers within the team. You will support the functional development of design engineers and ensure development opportunities are progressed.
4. Applying experience within a design environment along with sound engineering knowledge of manufacturing and design techniques, procedures, and practices.
5. Utilizing design toolsets such as CATIA V5, ICC, ECM, Sollings, and PASS.
6. Knowledge of composite materials would be beneficial but is not essential.
7. Achieving Design Signatory Level or capability within a short timeframe.
