Key areas of responsibility:
1. To produce standard digital images of the Greece and Rome collection
2. To process images including, where appropriate, standardising backgrounds, pairing obverse and reverse files using established automated batch processes
3. To ensure images are labelled with their MI+ PRN identifier to enable bulk upload to the asset database
4. To liaise with IS staff over the bulk upload of images
5. To identify any issues with the MI+ records of the imaged objects and to work with curators and other staff to correct problems
6. To support upgrading the documentation of Greek and Roman objects in the collection in liaison with curators
About you:
7. Experience of collections and digital asset management databases
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop software
9. Experience with photographic documentation
10. Some experience of working with a relevant collection, museum documentation and museum databases
11. Open, effective communicator with good spoken and written English
12. Ability to work as part of a team
