We are delighted to be working with a strong secondary academy in the Nuneaton area that is looking to appoint a passionate and skilled English Teacher beginning January. This is a full-time, permanent role, covering Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level English & Literature.
About the Role
In this position you will design and deliver engaging, text-rich lessons that challenge students to think deeply, communicate effectively, and engage with literature and language across genres. You’ll have the freedom to innovate, running literary circles, coordinating creative writing projects, and linking with other departments for cross-curricular themes. The English classrooms are well equipped, benefiting from nearby library access and shared digital platforms for student writing and research.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
* Has strong subject knowledge and passion for English & Literature
* Can teach GCSE and/or A-Level English
* Is creative, organised, reflective, and committed to student growth
* Has the legal right to work in the UK
