The principal focus of this role is to lead and provide direct support to the wider retail teams, ensuring that communication to stores is effective and consistent. Responsibilities involve working with the senior retail team to clarify strategy and objectives and translate them into a clear and deliverable plan. The Retail Operations Manager will lead and motivate the team to deliver the plan, constantly reviewing objectives to ensure they are achieved, with a strong succession plan in place.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading and facilitating Retail Projects, working in collaboration with key stakeholders across the business.
2. Working closely with Customer Service teams to ensure all teams are aligned in delivering a first-class customer proposition.
3. Driving and maintaining strong working relationships with 3rd party providers.
4. Facilitating communication between stores and Head Office departments to educate and empower Retail colleagues.
5. Maintaining Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance across all sites.
6. Addressing day-to-day challenges within store operations through ongoing troubleshooting.
7. Collaborating with the Store Development Team to deliver new store openings, relocations, and refits.
8. Organising and leading key Retail Events throughout the year, including the Annual Peak Conference.
9. Designing Retail Training to support project delivery skills development.
10. Managing outbound Retail Communications and providing direction to Prime, Outlet, and Concession stores.
Other:
* Manage the Retail Operations Assistant.
* Prepare adhoc retail reports.
* Participate in developing processes and procedures for retail stores.
* Handle escalations of customer complaints related to retail.
* Perform general ad-hoc administration to ensure departmental order.
* Ensure Retail Ops Intranet & systems are up to date.
* Support store maintenance and new store setup.
