Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager - Contract Logistics
Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Salary: £50,000 - £52,000
Our client, a fast-growing contract Logistics business, is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a team at their Regional Distribution Site in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Reporting to the senior leadership team the Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for:
* Leading site-wide operations across warehousing & fulfilment as well as cross functional support of specialist teams
* Driving operational performance, safety, service quality and profitability.
* Developing and motivating a high-performing team and providing direction through a period of transition
* Delivering process improvements and embedding operational best practice.
* Aligning site activity with the overall business strategy.
To be successful in your application for Warehouse Operations Manager, we require:
* Strong leadership experience in Logistics & Distribution
* 5+ Years experience as a people manager with a track record of developing talent and decision making capability
* A commercial mindset with the ability to deliver cost efficiencies without compromising service.
* Providing weekly invoicing details and explaining operational cost drivers.
* Proven success in scaling operations and leading change.
* Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to interact with senior managers and engage customers with regular update and reports
As Warehouse Manager you will receive:
* Competitive base salary of £50,000 - £52,000
* Preferable working patterns of Mon - Fri & Days
