Title: Part Time Events & Engagement Executive
Location: Dronfield - hybrid
Salary: £12.82 per hour
Hours: Flexible Part Time hours from 21 to 30 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed Term 1 year initially

We're delighted to be supporting a well-established charitable organisation in their search for an Events & Engagement Executive.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll take the lead on planning and delivering an exciting programme of events and activities designed to engage visitors, support fundraising efforts, and raise awareness of the organisation's work.
From working with performers and contributors to promoting events across social media and managing ticket sales, you'll play a key role in creating experiences that encourage people to connect, engage and support an important local cause.
No two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, creativity and building relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
• Planning and delivering a programme of engaging events and activities from concept through to successful delivery
• Researching new ideas, trends and opportunities to create exciting experiences for visitors and supporters
• Building relationships with artists, performers, contributors and suppliers to support event delivery
• Managing event bookings and acting as the first point of contact for enquiries
• Promoting events and activities across social media, digital channels and marketing platforms
• Managing website event pages and supporting ticket sales activity
• Creating promotional content and marketing materials to increase awareness and attendance
• Monitoring event performance and using feedback and data to improve future activity
• Working closely with volunteers, trustees and colleagues to ensure a coordinated approach
• Representing the organisation at events, networking opportunities and within the local community
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience organising events, activities or community engagement initiatives
• Experience promoting events through social media and marketing channels
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A creative mindset with the confidence to generate new ideas and opportunities
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with others
• Experience creating promotional materials using tools such as Canva would be advantageous
• A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for community-focused work
