About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 7/8a Pharmacist to join our team at Carlisle. This dispensary-based role involves screening chemotherapy care prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities:
You will screen and verify chemotherapy care prescriptions. You will ensure accuracy and compliance with medical standards. You will provide leadership and guidance within the dispensary.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience/Knowledge:
o Up to date GPhC registration.
o Master’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
o Proven hospital experience is essential.
o No prior experience with chemotherapy care prescriptions is necessary.
o Candidates from community pharmacy backgrounds are welcome.
* Skills/Abilities:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Time management and problem-solving skills.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
