Overview
About The Role: This is a nights position at HC-One. You will join our team as a Care Assistant, working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will assist with personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene, meals) and help with daily activities in the home to support residents’ independence and dignity.
You will deliver care with compassion, including supporting residents with limited mobility, providing comfort if distressed, and offering compassionate end-of-life care, always prioritising residents’ wellbeing and individual needs.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in adult social care. You should be able to recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as appropriate.
