About the Role
We are working on behalf of a fantastic specialist setting that provides education, outreach, and intervention services to young people in Gloucestershire. The school caters to a range of needs but primarily focuses on students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH).
Recently, we placed a couple of teachers at the school who are thoroughly enjoying their time there and making a real impact on these young people's lives. The school has several sites across Gloucester, so you will be expected to move between sites (driving is preferred).

The role
The SEMH Teaching Assistant role is varied, providing general 1-1 support across KS3 classes and assisting teachers. You don't need to be a subject specialist, but ideally, you would hold a GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English and be able to support across various subjects.
Experience working with SEMH students, preferably in a school setting, is desirable. This is a long-term position, so you should be seeking a long-term role.
