Experience in BP, Wound Care, Injections, Vaccinations, Baby Clinic Immunisations, Smears, Chronic Disease Reviews.

KINGS ROAD SURGERY, MUMBLES, SA3 4AJ.
Overview
We are a three partner one salaried GP, high achieving practice committed to delivering excellent care to just under 4000 patients.
Duties
* General Practice Nursing Care
* Wound dressings
* Blood pressure monitoring
* Performing ECG
* Vaccinations (flu/travel/baby)
* Baby Clinic (Thursdays 13:30-15:30)
* Foreign Travel Advice
* Chronic Disease Management
* Health Promotion
* Taking cervical smears preferred but not essential
* IT skills
Nursing Hours
16 hours a week
* Thursday 08:30 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 17:30 (includes baby clinic every other Thursday)
* Friday 08:30 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 17:30
* Additional hours would be available to cover annual leave and sickness absence
Annual Leave
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
Probationary period
Six months.
Qualifications
We are seeking a qualified Nurse who is enthusiastic, approachable, compassionate, organised and confident. Providing general nursing support to the GP's and Nurses at the Practice. Experience of Chronic management would be desirable.
