Job Description: Science Teacher
We are currently seeking a Science Teacher to work within a Secondary SEN Provision. The role is to start ASAP and is a long-term position, five days a week.
Responsibilities include:
* Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with flexibility in specialisms (Physics, Biology, Chemistry).
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively following the school's policies.
* Conduct practical and theoretical Science lessons.
* Foster positive relationships with students and serve as a role model to help students reach their full potential.
* Attend parents' evenings and meetings as required.
* Collaborate with the Head of Department and team to ensure smooth school operations and optimal student outcomes.
* Maintain professionalism and punctuality as an ambassador for Protocol Education.
Candidate requirements:
* Living locally to Teesside or within a reasonable commuting distance.
* Hold UK QTS with a Science/Physics/Biology/Chemistry specialism.
* Strong subject knowledge and confidence in delivering Science lessons at all levels.
* Experience teaching the UK Science curriculum.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service.
* Professional references covering the past 2 years.
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
