This full-time role is based in our Taunton Office, covering the entire Somerset region, with a flexible hybrid working model (office and home-based).
* 37 hours/week
* 33 days annual leave
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and improve service quality for children with protection plans or in care.
* Lead Children’s Advocacy and Independent Reviewing Service to enhance outcomes.
* Manage Independent Reviewing Officers, LADO service, and Route 1 Advocacy, ensuring statutory standards and review timescales are met.
* Resolve complex operational issues to ensure positive outcomes for children.
* Conduct audits to ensure adherence to Practice Standards and identify areas for improvement.
* Develop strategic plans and collaborate with partners to address quality issues.
Qualifications and Experience
* Social Work Qualification.
* Experience in project delivery and service improvement.
* Knowledge of statutory, legislative, and policy frameworks.
* Experience in partnership working and leading multi-agency groups.
