Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and communities in Taunton? At Turning Point, our drug and alcohol services are expanding, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join us during this exciting time of growth!

We have a variety of roles available, including:

* Community-Based Treatment Services: Provide assessments, coordinate treatment, and deliver structured psycho-social interventions to empower individuals in their recovery journey.
* Homeless Outreach Provision: Support vulnerable individuals living on the streets or in temporary accommodation with flexible outreach responses.
* Criminal Justice Rehabilitation/Recovery Services: Collaborate with Probation Services, Prisons, and Police to offer tailored support for recovery and rehabilitation.

As a Recovery Worker, you’ll start with a competitive salary of £25,116, with annual increases up to £29,383. Depending on your experience, you may even start at a higher salary!

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Recovery Worker, you will:

* Act as a key worker for a caseload of service users, helping them set and achieve their treatment goals.
* Maintain regular contact with clients, providing advice, information, and psycho-social interventions.
* Conduct assessments and risk management planning, collaborating closely with clinical staff and partner agencies.
* Communicate effectively with a diverse range of service users and colleagues, adapting to the dynamic nature of the role.
