Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Brookthorpe Hall School – Gloucestershire GL4 0UN
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only (there may be scope for a full-time contract (52 weeks); please discuss if this is your preference)
Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE

About the role
* Join our Clinical Wellbeing team as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils.
* Hold a Speech and Language Therapy caseload at Brookthorpe Hall School.
* Work with the Clinical Team to contribute to staff training, consultation and reflective practice.
* Support a holistic, therapeutic approach and manage your own workload with clinical supervision.
* Support safeguarding and place pupils at the forefront of all activities.
Essential Criteria
* Speech and Language Therapy degree
* HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT registration
* A minimum of 5+ years practicing experience as a SaLT in a similar setting with diverse and complex communication needs
* Experience in multidisciplinary teamwork, with some responsibility for service and team performance
* Clear and concise clinical and research report writing
* Experience providing clinical supervision
* Experience in multi-professional work teams or services within the designated specialty
