Job Description:
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely processing for all procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, invoices, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with suppliers to address queries and resolve any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast and fulfil purchasing needs.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance.
• Support the procurement team with administrative tasks and system updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the purchasing process.
The Successful Applicant should have:
• Previous experience in a similar purchasing or administrative role.
• Knowledge of procurement processes within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using procurement or inventory management software.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing tasks.
