Our BT Workplace team provides a full range of building maintenance services to their 7,000 buildings in the UK, including commercial offices, telephone exchanges, call centres, and retail shops.
The role: Workplace Experience Lead
The purpose of this role is to act as the catalyst in delivering, both individually and through the team, an exceptional workplace experience, focusing on the entire workplace journey for colleagues and clients. It involves attention to detail, best practices, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing all services within the designated BT building and ensuring the Workplace Services team exceeds expectations in client-facing operations.
2. Delivering exceptional front-of-house/Reception services, including greeting, room setup, consumables replenishment, vending, cleaning standards, site access, waste management, parking, and guest management.
3. Building relationships with clients to understand and meet their needs, arranging meetings to showcase service improvements.
4. Supporting financial management, including P&L oversight, to ensure cost-efficient service delivery.
5. Ensuring all building facilities (meeting rooms, printing, kitchens, bathrooms) are well-maintained, clean, and functional.
6. Providing leadership, coaching, and support to the team to promote best practices and recognition.
Person Specification
* Experience in facilities management or workplace roles, preferably in customer experience, events, or hospitality.
* Strong motivational, influencing, and leadership skills with high integrity.
* Strategic and tactical thinking abilities to enhance client satisfaction.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
* Effective communication and customer service skills with attention to detail.
* Proactive in continuous improvement, embodying company values and passion.
