Salary: £27,580 per annum
Are you an experienced Room Leader looking for a fresh opportunity? Look no further! At Acre Wood Nursery, we’re on the hunt for a passionate individual to lead our dedicated team in delivering our enriching ethos and curriculum to our children and families.
Your Role
As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the experiences of our children. Our nursery operates from 7:00 AM to 6:15 PM, and we need someone flexible to work varied shift patterns within these hours.

Your Responsibilities
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources tailored to children's age and development.
* Enhance the overall daily needs of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
* Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with the highest quality.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Embed an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments and identify training needs for staff.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
* Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.

Your Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who possess:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential
* Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Essential
* Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position: Desirable
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential
* Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
