Mixologist
Sir Frank’s
Bar is a trove of historic treasures, collectables and rare artwork
collections. Here, you'll find walls lined with over 350 paintings by the
Victorian botanical artist, Marianne North, a Gatsbyesque art-deco bar with
topaz-blue velvet stools, a menu of Japanese-inspired tacos and light bites,
and a generous selection of tipples to choose from.
We are
looking for a Head Mixologist who wants to work in an unforgettable
environment, providing an enchanting experience to our guests.
Who you are:
* You’ll have extensive knowledge of spirits,
cocktails, and other beverages, with a creative flair for developing new drinks
and perfecting classic cocktails.
* Intuitive, with immaculate attention to detail and
consistency, always rising to the challenge during busy periods.
* An advanced mixologist, with a thorough
understanding of cocktail preparation, presentation, and beverage trends.
* An
exceptional listener and communicator, with the ability to effectively
collaborate with colleagues.
* You’ll be an experienced mixologist, with a
background in the luxury hospitality market.
What you'll be doing:
* Using
your advanced mixology knowledge, to create a bespoke cocktail list for Sir
Franks Bar, twice a year.
* Delivering
exceptional service in an enthusiastic and charming manner, with the ability to
build rapport with any guest and provide personalized recommendations.
* You
will set and maintain the first-class standards for our bartending team,
ensuring every cocktail is finished to perfection.
* Promoting
good employee morale and encourages the Bar team to have high levels of
commitment, even when under pressure.
Shift
Pattern:
* This
position will consist of 40 hours per week.
* The
ideal candidate will be able to work any 5 days out of 7 (including weekends).
* The
shift pattern for this position will typically consist of: 10:00-19:00,
15:00-01:00 or 16:00-01:00, with some variation dependent upon business needs.
