You will act as a Programme Tutor for a caseload of students, ensuring they receive an engaging and supportive learning experience that prepares them for success in their chosen career paths.Essential CriteriaTo be considered for this role, you must have,
* Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across a range of Public Services courses.
* Act as a Programme Tutor, supporting student progress, behaviour, and attendance.
* Develop and maintain high-quality teaching resources, schemes of work, and lesson plans.
* Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records.
* Promote Maths and English development within all lessons.
* Build relationships with industry partners to enhance learning and progression opportunities.
* Participate in curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
* Support recruitment activities including open days and promotional events.
A relevant degree or Level 3 qualification in Public Services or a related subject.
* A teaching qualification or substantial industry experience (or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification).
* Industry experience within the public/uniformed services sector (e.g. Army, Navy, RAF, Fire, Police, Criminology).
* Experience of using innovative teaching techniques in Further Education.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
