The company continues to win prestigious projects involving the installation of mechanical and electrical services in commercial and industrial buildings across the UK.
Role Overview
As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will oversee one or multiple projects during the preconstruction phase.
You will liaise with a Pre-Construction Director and the team to plan and deliver project programmes effectively.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience managing preconstruction processes, ensuring smooth transition to construction, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, designers, architects, and project teams.
* Confident and clear communicator with a professional attitude and proactive approach.
* Experience as a Bid Manager or in a related role, with the ability to crossover into preconstruction and negotiated tenders.
* Ability to work with Business Development, deliver client presentations, and coordinate with estimating teams on various preconstruction phases.
* Skilled in tendering, design compliance, client meetings, and project control.
* Experience in coordinating preconstruction and cost planning, assisting with pricing, and negotiating subcontract packages.
* Knowledge of Trimble / Amtech Estimating software and Mechanical & Electrical installations is highly desirable.
* Construction background with the determination and desire to transition into precon M&E roles will also be considered.
