This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to join GSK’s Business Development organisation. In this role you will work closely with your manager, their direct teams as well as in close alignment with other Administrative Assistants to provide support within your area and Business Development overall.
You will provide high-level support with a high degree of professionalism and discretion, while handling a wide variety of responsibilities. The successful candidate will be a flexible teammate who is a detail-oriented, critical thinker with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
In this role you will
* Management of complex calendar of senior leader together with detailed international travel arrangements.
* Manage high level enterprise sensitive and confidential interactions both with internal and external third parties.
* Exercise discretion and independent judgement of matters related to ongoing GSK business development activities.
* Have awareness and appreciation of the confidential nature of BD associated documents and ability to manage in a way that ensures only those who need to see the information have access. At times this may require communications to tactfully handle sensitive deal documents and ability to separate deal-related from non-deal related information.
* Conduct high level written communication with internal stakeholders as well to external parties.
* Close liaison with EAs and other GSK leaders and all BD members.
* Manage incoming mail, to determine the level of priority and action accordingly.
* Coordination at business level with a view on enterprise considerations
* Responsible for manager’s meetings and conference calls, ensuring appropriate technical arrangements are in place and information distributed to appropriate parties.
* As requested, manage agendas and associated SharePoint team sites.
* Expense management ensuring all policies are followed and items are processed within guidelines.
* As requested, assist the manager with any recruitment needs, working closely with HR.
* Work with BD Operations and BD admin team to ensure all logistics for BD Townhalls are met.

* Superb IT abilities to include Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, use of inter- and intranet, WebEx and associated technologies.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
* Strong collaboration and relationship building skills. Team player with the ability to gain the confidence of and cooperation of peers. Close working relationship with other department EAs.
* In depth knowledge of GSK practices and processes an advantage but not necessary.
* A team approach with other EAs and Admin professionals, personable, high EQ with impeccable integrity.
* Discretion and confidence to deal with people at all levels, internal and external.
