Responsibilities
:
1. Assist with cost management and commercial reporting across construction projects.
2. Support the preparation of subcontractor packages and procurement processes.
3. Assist with valuations, variations, and final accounts.
4. Monitor project costs and help identify potential risks or cost changes.
5. Liaise with site teams and subcontractors to support project delivery.
6. Maintain accurate commercial documentation and records.
The ideal Quantity Surveyor
7. Our client would consider an Assistant Quantity Surveyor from either of the following two paths
A recent graduate with circa 12 months experience
Or a Trainee/Assistant Quantity Surveyor with up to 5 years of relevant industry experience (with no degree)
8. Strong communication skills and confidence when working with subcontractors.
9. Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control procedures.
10. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
11. Ability to work collaboratively within a growing team environment.
12. Willingness to travel to sites when required.
