Content Manager
to join the team in Leeds. A full time, permanent role - the successful candidate will play an integral role in an expanding marketing and communications team.
One of the UK's biggest not-for-profit sporting event companies, Run For All organise and deliver a large number of high-profile, mass participation events including the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, Altra Yorkshire Marathon, Arla Protein York 10K, Leeds 10K and Sheffield Mutual Sheffield Half Marathon.

As our
Content Manager,
you'll play a vital role in driving entries and engagement across our event portfolio through high impact paid social campaigns and persuasive sales-driven email content.
For this strategic and hands-on role, we're looking for a passionate and creative individual to join our team and help us amplify our mission through powerful, engaging content. The role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves telling compelling stories and has a keen eye for digital trends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement engaging social media strategies aligned with Run For All's overall marketing and communication goals
* Optimise targeting, creatives and messaging based on performance data and audience insights
* Responsible for devising and implementing paid social strategy across multiple platforms
* Collaborate with Content Executive and Graphic Designer to ensure visual assets align with campaign goals and guidelines
* Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, continually testing and refining to improve ROI
* Manage and maintain brand social media accounts, ensuring a consistent brand voice and visual identity
* Engage with online community, responding to comments, messages and fostering positive interactions and sense of belonging
* Manage social media budgets where applicable, ensuring effective allocation of resources
* Write and schedule high-converting marketing and sales emails to promote events and campaigns
* Craft compelling subject lines, CTA and copy that inspires action whilst reflecting our brand voice
* Line management responsibility of social and marketing team members
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience running paid social campaigns with measurable results
* Excellent copywriting skills with a strong understanding of direct response techniques
* A good eye for compelling creative and messaging that engages diverse audiences
* Proficiency in creating visually appealing content using design tools (Eg. Canva, Adobe Creative)
* A data driven approach with ability to interpret social media metrics and translate them into actionable strategies
* A proactive mindset, self-motivated, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and effectively
* Experience in sports, events or charity sector is a bonus but not essential
* Line management experience is preferrable
Salary and Benefits:
* The salary for this post is between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus contribution towards a personal pension following completion of a successful probationary period. Holiday entitlement is 25 days per year excluding public holidays.
* Normal working hours are Monday to Friday. Additional evening and weekend work will be required, particularly in the run up to and during the event season.
