About us
Nexus was formed in 2016 through the merger of established local practices in north Southwark. We serve a practice population of 76,000 patients across 9 sites, aiming to provide excellent clinical services and a supportive learning environment for staff. Our approach emphasizes clinical excellence, leadership, and governance. We are also a recognized training organization.
Our sites are conveniently located near transport hubs like London Bridge, Elephant & Castle, and Canada Water. We share a single patient list with site-specific teams comprising GPs, nurses, physician associates, paramedics, ANPs, and pharmacists, supported by managers and administrative staff, as well as centralized HR, IT, and clinical administration.
All sites operate as traditional practices with site managers and GP partners, involved in training GPs and other healthcare professionals, with close collaboration with the local PCN led by two Clinical Directors.
